Responsibilities:
Dual position
  • Conduct Biopsychosocial Assessments (BPS) and provide Outpatient counseling to two distinct populations.
The assessments will be completed for the Department of Child Protection and Permanency in Hunterdon County. Required to determine diagnosis, identify barriers to success and document a clear and concise clinical summary outlining treatment recommendations. Effective communication and time management skills are also expected. The position also includes Outpatient clinical work outside the assessment coordination role including providing appropriate assessments (biopsychosocial assessments), treatment plans, case documentation/progress notes, outpatient counseling services, and referrals for psychiatric care. Some travel may be necessary. Evening work may be needed to accommodate clients and families need.
Requirements:
LPC, LCSW and ability to access free CEU's through Rutgers Social Work program, Wellspring, and Medication Training with our providers. Evening work may be needed to accommodate clients and families need. Bachelors or Masters Bilingual is beneficial but not required. Knowledge of trauma informed care, solution based and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches, as well as DSM5 diagnosis. Knowledge of community resources would also be helpful.
