We are currently searching for a Fully Licensed Social Worker/Therapist OR Intern to join our growing private practice to provide individual, couple, and family therapy to a wide range of behavioral health populations. We provide mental health care to the majority of insurances and help our providers get on our insurance panels. The candidate will have the ability to diagnose, assess, and treat mental and behavioral health conditions. The candidate will need to be an excellent clinician open to new and exciting challenges, including the desire to work with children. Our therapists are provided clients through referrals from our on site Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners as well as through insurance panels. Therapists are also provided with an office space, electronic health record access for note taking/billing, as well as reception staff that aids in scheduling clients. Board Certified Approved Clinical Supervisors are welcome. The responsibilities include, maintaining progress notes with charge slips, diagnosis, treatment plans, discharge notes, referrals, attending monthly staff meetings, maintaining license credentials, maintaining CPR/FirstAid credentials, maintaining personal liability insurance, & providing ethical and up to date treatment.
Requirements:
  • Masters Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or Clinical Social Work from an accredited university and a Nevada State Board license/certification.
  • Fully licensed (Independent) or Intern for this location.
  • 1-2 years of experience with EMDR, DBT, CBT, substance use, crisis intervention, or trauma-informed care is preferred.
  • Treating children 16+, adults, couples/families, and groups.
  • Self guided determination and efficient time management to be able to complete notes inside a 4-day window.
  • Basic understanding of navigating an Electronic Health Record (EHR) database.
  • Fast learning and flexible; able to keep up growing agency and companies changes.
  • Team player, takes initiative and directive when needed.
