Case Manager - Columbus, OH Highlife Recovery is seeking a full-time Case Manager to join our Columbus team. A CDCA credential is preferred, and candidates who also hold a QMHS credential are especially encouraged to apply. This position works directly with individuals receiving substance use disorder and co-occurring treatment and helps clients address practical barriers that may interfere with treatment participation and recovery. This is a hands-on position that includes both office-based case management and community-based work. Driving is required, and mileage is reimbursed for work-related travel. Schedule Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM Availability to work up to two evenings per week as needed Full-time position Responsibilities Provide case management services to assigned clients Help clients identify and address barriers to treatment participation and recovery Coordinate referrals and services related to housing, employment, transportation, benefits, medical care, mental health care, legal needs, and other community resources Monitor client participation and adherence to their treatment program Assist clients with scheduling and coordination of appointments and outside services Communicate with treatment providers, probation officers, community agencies, and other supports when appropriate Provide outreach and follow-up for clients who are struggling with treatment engagement Assist with urine drug screening and other routine program-related activities as needed Provide transportation or community-based assistance when appropriate Maintain timely and accurate case management documentation Participate in interdisciplinary coordination with clinical, medical, front-office, and recovery housing staff Perform other case management duties within the employee's scope and credential Qualifications CDCA credential preferred QMHS credential is a plus Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders or mental health needs preferred Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the treatment team Comfortable working with clients who may have significant social, legal, housing, employment, or transportation needs Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally required Must meet applicable background check and credentialing requirements Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and credentials Mileage reimbursement for work-related driving Full-time, consistent weekday schedule Opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary addiction and behavioral health treatment environment Location Highlife Recovery Columbus, Ohio Highlife Recovery provides outpatient substance use disorder and co-occurring treatment, including counseling, case management, medication-assisted treatment, and other recovery support services.
