Transformations Health Services is seeking energetic, compassionate, and highly motivated Qualified Behavioral Health Specialists (QBHS) and Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP) to join our growing behavioral health team. This is not a traditional desk job. Our
QBHS/QMHP
team members work directly with children, adolescents, adults, and families in the community to help them develop the skills they need to become healthier, more independent, and more successful in their everyday lives. You may meet a client at home and work on establishing a healthy routine. You may help a teenager develop coping skills to manage anger or anxiety. You may assist a parent with navigating community resources, work with a client on budgeting or employment skills, facilitate a skills-building group, or help someone practice the strategies identified in their treatment plan. This is where treatment plans become real-life progress. What You'll Do As a QBHS/QMHP, you will provide Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) and Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) to clients with behavioral health needs.
Your responsibilities may include:
Provide individualized CPST and TBS services based on each client's treatment plan Help clients develop coping, communication, social, and independent-living skills Teach practical strategies for managing symptoms and everyday challenges Help clients identify triggers and practice healthier responses Support clients with goal setting and problem solving Assist clients with developing routines and organizational skills Help clients access appropriate community resources Provide education and support to clients and families Work with clients in their homes, community settings, office, and other appropriate locations Provide telehealth services when clinically appropriate and permitted Facilitate behavioral health and skill-building groups Help clients remain engaged in therapy, psychiatry, and other recommended services Collaborate with therapists, psychiatric providers, supervisors, and other members of the treatment team Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations Recognize changes in client needs and communicate concerns promptly to the clinical team Maintain accurate and timely service documentation What Does

With a child: Practice emotional regulation, social skills, communication, following routines, or appropriate responses to frustration.
With a teenager:
Work on decision-making, anger management, school engagement, coping strategies, healthy relationships, or preparing for adulthood.
With an adult:
Work on symptom management, organization, budgeting, employment readiness, communication, independent living, community integration, or accessing resources.
With a family:
Help caregivers understand behavioral strategies, reinforce skills being taught in treatment, and improve the client's support system. The goal is to help clients take the skills discussed during treatment and apply them to everyday life. This Is a High-Engagement Position Transformations Health Services is a fast-paced, high-accountability behavioral health organization. Successful QBHS/QMHPs actively manage their caseloads.

Qualifications Candidates must meet applicable requirements to qualify as a QBHS and/or QMHP based on education, experience, and regulatory standards. Preferred backgrounds include degrees or qualifying experience in: Psychology Social Work Counseling Human Services Sociology Criminal Justice Child Development Education Family Studies Behavioral Science Other related human-service fields Previous behavioral health experience is strongly preferred. Additional Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable transportation and appropriate automobile insurance Ability and willingness to travel throughout the community Ability to work independently in community-based settings Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain professional boundaries Strong time-management and organizational skills Ability to use electronic health record systems and other technology Ability to complete required documentation accurately and timely Ability to successfully complete required background checks and training This Position May NOT Be for You If...
