REQUIRED
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health, Psychology, or a related field This job works Monday - Friday from 8-5, with weekends off. Duties:
Actively works with clients who have limited awareness of illness and poor adherence to treatment regimes. Works to identify the underlying barriers to treatment adherence, i.e., lack of transportation and lack of understanding of medications. Educates family members about mental illness and actively works with family members to resolve issues effecting families, and utilizes family members as a resource in achieving positive outcomes with the client. Develops Individual Recovery Plans which include assertive interventions that directly target the improvement of the client's activities of daily living and address the recovery support services involved in mental health and alcohol and drug treatment.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health, Psychology, or a related field OR 3 or more years of work experience in the Mental Health with a high school diploma or GED. Prior case worker/management experience preferred. •Valid drivers license and proof of Auto insurance are required as this position requires transportation of clients.
