Job Summary REACH Recovery is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Professional to join our behavioral health team. This position provides assessment, counseling, treatment planning, case coordination, and other recovery-focused services to individuals experiencing substance use disorders and related behavioral health needs. The SUD Professional works collaboratively with clients to identify strengths, needs, goals, and barriers to recovery and develops individualized services that support meaningful progress. This position requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, accurate documentation, and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive substance use disorder assessments using DSM-5 criteria and applicable ASAM criteria to determine treatment needs and appropriate level of care. Develop, review, and update individualized service plans based on each client's needs, goals, strengths, preferences, and progress. Provide individual, group, and family counseling using evidence-based and evidence-informed approaches such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral strategies, relapse prevention, and other appropriate interventions. Support clients in developing coping skills, recovery strategies, and practical tools to address substance use, cravings, triggers, relapse risk, and other barriers to recovery. Complete intake evaluations, ongoing reassessments, progress reviews, discharge planning, and other required clinical documentation. Provide case management and care coordination related to treatment, medical care, behavioral health services, recovery supports, housing, transportation, employment, legal obligations, and other identified needs. Coordinate services with medical providers, peer support specialists, case managers, social service agencies, criminal justice partners, family members, and other supports when appropriate and authorized. Provide services using person-centered, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and recovery-oriented practices. Recognize and respond appropriately to crisis situations and coordinate with emergency or crisis services when necessary. Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, case consultation, training, quality improvement activities, and other program responsibilities. Maintain required credentials, continuing education, and professional development. Follow REACH Recovery and Eastern Oregon Health & Wellness policies, procedures, ethical standards, and professional boundary expectations. Qualifications and Experience Current Oregon CADC credential, or eligibility to obtain the credential required for the position. Experience providing substance use disorder counseling, treatment, or related behavioral health services. Knowledge of DSM-5 substance use disorder criteria and ASAM placement and continued-stay criteria. Experience with client assessment, individualized treatment planning, individual counseling, group facilitation, case management, and clinical documentation. Knowledge of evidence-based and evidence-informed approaches used in substance use disorder treatment, including motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and cognitive-behavioral strategies. Understanding of co-occurring behavioral health needs and the ability to coordinate appropriate services and referrals. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and personal backgrounds. Part 2, and applicable professional and ethical standards. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in outpatient substance use disorder treatment. Experience providing services at multiple levels of care, including outpatient and intensive outpatient services. Experience working with individuals receiving medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD). Experience working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system or DUII services. Familiarity with community resources and recovery supports. Pay:

$22.87 - $39.16 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
