GENERAL OVERVIEW

Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of acute psychiatric patients.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides individual, group and family therapy with assigned patients. (70%) Conducts an individual comprehensive evaluation for assigned patients. (10%) Completes all documentation according to regulatory requirements (e.g. treatment plans, progress notes). (10%) Attends all required departmental/hospital meetings. (10%) Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Master's degree in a relevant field Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) or other Behavioral Specialist license Preferred Older Adults Protective Services Act (OAPSA) clearance Prior counseling experience in a behavioral health setting
