Work Environment Your work will be conducted in a climate-controlled, state-of-the-art office environment tailored to support optimal performance and well-being. As a remote employee, you will leverage technology to maintain seamless communication with colleagues, sharing insights and collaborating on patient care. You will have regular interactions with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals within our community health clinic, allowing for a collaborative approach to treatment. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to diagnose psychological conditions when appropriate, utilizing established diagnostic guidelines such as the DSM-5. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect patient needs, goals, and cultural considerations, ensuring each plan is tailored to the unique needs of the patient population. Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, adjusting strategies based on patient progress and feedback to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain meticulously organized and compliant treatment records, reports, and clinical documentation using electronic health record systems, aligning with regulatory standards and departmental protocols. Collaborate effectively with patients and their families, fostering an environment of shared decision-making and guiding them through the therapeutic process. Prepare and deliver educational workshops and mentoring sessions for students and interns, cultivating the next generation of mental health professionals. Actively participate in peer reviews and interdisciplinary meetings, providing constructive feedback and support to fellow clinicians to promote professional development and improve team outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus As an LCSW at Lyra Behavioral Center, you will work primarily with individuals and families who are navigating the emotional complexities associated with cancer diagnoses. This includes addressing the varied psychological symptoms experienced by those diagnosed, as well as supporting caregivers. Your work will center on providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to alleviate distress, enhance coping strategies, and foster resilience. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. A valid and current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Preferred Experience Experience working with oncology patients or in a cancer treatment setting. Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or mindfulness-based therapies. Compensation and Benefits Lyra Behavioral Center offers a competitive salary ranging from
USD 90,000
to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
