Job Description

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related human services field from an accredited university. Active licensure (or license-eligible, depending on state requirements) required for providing telehealth services. Conduct comprehensive remote assessments to evaluate adult clients' mental health, substance use (alcohol and drugs), and emotional functioning via secure telehealth platforms. Provide individual and group therapy sessions through virtual modalities, using evidence-based practices tailored to substance use and co-occurring disorders. Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring continuity of care in a virtual setting. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions based on clinical needs and engagement in telehealth services. Identify clinical and case management needs, coordinating care remotely and connecting clients with appropriate virtual or local support services. Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups via secure video platforms, maintaining engagement and therapeutic effectiveness in a virtual environment. Coordinate or arrange for necessary toxicology screenings (e.g., urine drug screens) through approved local labs or partner facilities, and review results as part of ongoing care. Demonstrate working knowledge of opioid use disorders and provide or support Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in collaboration with prescribing providers when applicable. Ensure compliance with all applicable Medicaid, Medicare, and telehealth regulations, including documentation, billing, and privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA). Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources and virtual support options to assist with discharge planning and aftercare coordination. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies effectively while maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
