We are building a clinical community for therapists committed to trauma-informed care, nervous system-informed practice, and client-led faith integration. We foster a clinical training and development environment for clinicians who desire to grow in both skill and purpose while working with adult and adolescent populations. Position Overview We are seeking a pre-licensed clinician (MSW pursuing LCSW) to join our practice as a W-2 Supervisee Clinician. This role is designed for clinicians who want: Structured supervision Intentional clinical development A supportive environment to build confidence and competence Clinicians will begin fully remote (telehealth) with the option to incorporate in-person sessions at our Newport News office as it becomes available. Clinical Focus This position is ideal for clinicians interested in: Trauma and PTSD Anxiety and nervous system regulation Women's mental health Faith-informed or spiritually integrated care (client-led) Compensation $30 per clinical hour (Year 1) $40 per clinical hour (Year 2, based on performance and advancement) Clinical hours are defined as direct, client-facing psychotherapy sessions. Supervision & Development This role includes: Weekly individual supervision Group consultation opportunities Ongoing clinical support and feedback Exposure to trauma-informed and neuroscience-based frameworks This is a structured training role, not just a placement. Responsibilities Provide psychotherapy services via telehealth (and optional in-person) Complete clinical documentation within required timeframes Participate actively in supervision Maintain ethical and professional standards Engage in ongoing clinical growth Caseload Development Clients are provided through the practice Gradual caseload ramp to support clinical readiness No requirement to independently market or source clients Practice Environment Painted Bird operates from a trauma-informed and values-aligned framework.

Clinicians should be:
