Supervising Clinician (LCSW Preferred) - Behavioral Health Agency | 1099 | GA Medicaid Enrollment Filling The Gaps Atlanta, GA Job Details Part-time | Contract $75 - $120 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Licensed Clinical Social Worker Policy & process development Quality assurance Leadership Licensed Certified Social Worker Full Job Description Founding Supervising Clinician (Georgia) Shape a Behavioral Health Program From the Ground Up We are a Georgia-based behavioral health organization in the final stages of Medicaid and managed care enrollment, building a high-quality, community-focused program that will expand access to behavioral and peer support services across the state. We're seeking a licensed Supervising Clinician to step into a founding leadership role supporting compliance, credentialing, and clinical readiness as we prepare for launch. This is a unique opportunity to help design a program the right way from the start — with flexibility, influence, and long-term leadership potential. Why This Role Is Different ✔ Be part of a program launch , not just a job ✔ Help shape policies, clinical standards, and service quality ✔ Flexible structure designed for experienced clinicians ✔ Leadership position that grows as the program grows ✔ No client caseload required during pre-launch phase Phase 1: Pre-Launch Leadership (Low Time Commitment) During Medicaid and managed care enrollment, you will serve as the Supervising Clinician of Record , providing clinical authority and oversight to ensure the organization meets state and payer requirements. Key Contributions Serve as Supervising Clinician for GA Medicaid (GAMMIS) and MCO credentialing Review and approve behavioral health and peer support policies Support compliance readiness for Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) services Provide clinical guidance on program structure and standards Limited administrative involvement — focused, high-level oversight No direct client care required during this phase. Phase 2: Post-Approval Clinical Leadership Once payer approval is secured and services go live, this role transitions into an ongoing paid clinical leadership position . Ongoing Responsibilities Clinical oversight and supervision (scope finalized at launch) Support compliance, quality assurance, and service integrity Provide supervisory guidance for CPS and behavioral health services Contribute to program development and clinical excellence Compensation Structure This role is structured to transition into paid leadership once Medicaid/MCO contracts are active.
Options include:
Monthly supervisory leadership stipend Hourly supervision rate Per-service or per-member model All terms outlined in a written 1099 independent contractor agreement with flexible structuring. Who We're Looking For Required Active, unrestricted Georgia LCSW (strongly preferred) Eligible for GA Medicaid (GAMMIS) and MCO credentialing Preferred Experience in behavioral health, community-based services, or program development Familiarity with peer support or CPS service models Comfortable in a supervisory and program leadership capacity Organized, compliance-minded, and solutions-oriented Ideal for a clinician who wants: To influence how services are built, not just delivered. Pay:
$75.00 - $120.00 per hour Application Question(s): Compensation begins once GA Medicaid and managed care contracts are active. No billable hours prior to payer approval. Do you understand this ? Credentialing Completion Incentive payable after 30 days of active, billable services following payer approval. Does this work for you ? We're early-stage but structured. This role is designed specifically for credentialing and launch. Compensation begins once payer approval is active which takes roughly 60 - 90 days and we've built the contract to protect your time and credentials. A Does this work for you ? Are you already credentialed with medicaid ? Are you aware the credentialing process can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months to complete. As a result, the incentive payment is provided upon completion of the credentialing process after the designated period.
