Full-Time, Exempt Position Summary The Lakes Behavioral Health is a recently-opened TJC accredited outpatient in Lakeland, Fl. We are expanding our services to include virtual evening IOP and looking to add a full-time dedicated Primary Therapist to join our clinical team! This position will require some scheduling flexibility between day and afternoon/evening shifts, as well as a combination of onsite and WFH responsibilities. As the evening census grows, the intention for this role is to shift to 4-5 afternoon/evening hybrid shifts weekly. A much more concise explanation of the scheduling will be provided during the interview process. The Lakes is a dual licensed facility, providing treatment for both Primary SUD and Primary MH populations. We provide high-intensity treatment for adults in our Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs. The clinical work focuses our PHOS framework: P•ositive psychology, H ealth through salutogenesis, O utcomes measuring, and S•trength maximization.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Caseload:
Manage a primary caseload of 12-15 clients, providing weekly individual therapy and family sessions when appropriate.
Group Facilitation:
Lead cutting-edge groups (in-person and virtual) in line with our organizational philosophy of PHOS framework.
Documentation:
Ensure all Intake assessments, Treatment Plans, Progress Notes, and other clinical documentation meet Florida DCF and Joint Commission standards.
Collaboration:
Participate in daily and weekly multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings with peers, medical, operations, and leadership teams to ensure top notch client care.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Master's Degree in a Human Services field (Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, etc.).
Florida Licensure:
Active FL License as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT; Experienced Registered Interns are also encouraged to apply.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with
ASAM/LOCUS
Criteria for level-of-care placement and Diagnostic criteria for SUD and MH diagnoses.
Local Insight:
Understanding of the Lakeland/Polk County community resources and support systems is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range:
Licensed (LCSW/LMHC/LMFT): $65,000•$75,000 per year.
Registered Interns:
$58,000•$68,000 per year, DOE.
