Job Description:
Social Work Clinician - Practice is characterized by independent decision-making and a consistent approach to holistic patient care. The LCSW functions within the interdisciplinary team and initiates action to address patient care concerns. Serves as a clinical leader and has broad experience and advanced knowledge and skills. To provide evidence-based psychotherapy services to patients in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in an outpatient setting.
Job Duties:
Provide psychotherapy services to child, adolescent and adult patients in the Department's outpatient clinics. Demonstrate knowledge and use of evidence-based treatment techniques in professional practice to address therapeutic issues. Document assessments and progress notes in the patient's electronic medical record in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Analyze therapeutic techniques and implement changes to improve quality of service. Adhere to internal controls established for the department. Perform related duties as required.
