ChildAdolescent Mental Health Case Manager
ROCKBRIDGE AREA COMMUNITY SERVICES RACS
is currently seeking a motivated, qualified individual to work in our coverage area of Rockbridge and Bath County, and the Cities of Lexington and Buena Vista. RACS will provide training, supervision, and education opportunities specific to the position.
Position Overview:
The Child/Adolescent Mental Health Case Manager position is responsible for providing case management services to seriously emotionally disturbed children, adolescents, and their families residing in the catchment area of the Rockbridge Area Community Services Board. Case management services to be provided include needs assessment, linking to services, monitoring services, client and family education, advocacy and outreach. This position reports to the Child and Adolescent Community Based Services Manager for all case work and clinical duties. In carrying out assigned position responsibilities, he/she receives limited supervision and is required to exercise sound judgment, demonstrate initiative, and maintain a high degree of confidentiality, in accordance with RACS policies and procedures and HIPAA.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human services related field from an accredited school required. Zero to one year of clinical experience working with children in a mental health setting required. A valid Virginia driver's license and maintaining a safe driving record according to RACS policy is required. QMHP license preferred. Why Join RACS? Background Investigation Requirements :
