Psychotherapy Full Job Description About Us:
Spokane Work Injury Clinic is a specialty practice focused on the comprehensive care of Washington State's injured workers. Our integrated, multidisciplinary team is dedicated to helping patients recover and return to work through high-quality, evidence-based health services. We collaborate closely with physicians, employers, and case managers to support recovery from both the physical and psychological impacts of workplace injury.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team in delivering trauma-informed mental health services to injured workers. This role involves providing psychotherapy within a collaborative clinical setting that values whole-person care and supports patient recovery, resilience, and functional restoration. Mental health treatment experience and interest with chronic pain is a plus. Eligible Licensure (must hold one of the following current WA State licenses): Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) BCIA certification (Biofeedback Certification International Alliance) is a plus , but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide diagnostic assessments and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans Deliver evidence-based behavior health interventions focused on recovery, coping, and return-to-work goals by addressing psychosocial barriers that impede the injured workers recovery. Collaborate with primary care providers, and claim managers as part of an integrated care team Document clinical services in compliance with WA State Labor & Industries (L&I) requirements Support patients with conditions including chronic pain, trauma, depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders Participate in clinical team meetings, consultations, and ongoing professional development
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of recent clinical experience (experience working with injured workers or rehabilitation populations is highly desirable) Mental health treatment experience with chronic pain. Familiarity with Washington State Labor & Industries policies and documentation standards Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively Experience or certification in biofeedback/neurofeedback (BCIA) is a bonus How to
