Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Child Care Director to lead our early childhood education programs and childcare services. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure the delivery of high-quality care, and foster a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Your leadership will inspire a team of dedicated caregivers and educators to provide exceptional experiences for children and peace of mind for families. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and committed to promoting childhood development through innovative programming and compassionate caregiving. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the childcare center, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation Lead and support a team of teachers, caregivers, and support staff to deliver engaging early childhood education programs Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety standards, and health protocols Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Foster positive relationships with children, families, and community partners to enhance program quality Oversee classroom management strategies to maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment Conduct regular staff training on topics such as behavior management, special education needs, first aid, and working with children with disabilities Experience Proven experience in early childhood education or childcare management with classroom experience in preschool or daycare settings Strong background in childhood development principles and best practices for working with children of various ages including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of care and education Knowledge of licensing requirements related to childcare centers and early childhood programs Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable Certifications such as first aid/CPR are required; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are a plus Prior nannying or babysitting experience with young children can be valuable for understanding caregiving nuances Join us in shaping the future by providing a safe, nurturing space where children can learn through play and exploration!
