Job Description

Job Overview I am seeking a dedicated and energetic Live-In Nanny to provide exceptional care and support for my 1.5 year old daughter in a warm, nurturing environment. This role offers the unique opportunity to live on-site, in your own room w/ private bathroom fostering a close bond with the family while ensuring the children's safety, development, and happiness. The ideal candidate will be proactive, compassionate, and experienced in caring for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Your responsibilities will include managing daily routines, engaging children in educational activities, preparing nutritious meals, and maintaining a clean and organized living space. This position is perfect for someone passionate about childcare who thrives in a dynamic, family-centered setting. Responsibilities You will only be working Friday - Sunday 5am - 5:30pm Provide attentive and loving care to children of different ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills Prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, nap times, and diaper changes for infants and toddlers Ensure a safe environment by practicing first aid when necessary and adhering to safety protocols Maintain a clean living space by performing light housekeeping tasks related to children's belongings and areas Support children's educational development through teaching basic skills and encouraging curiosity Work with children during outings to parks, playdates, or appointments as needed Collaborate closely with parents to follow specific care instructions and developmental goals Experience Candidates should have prior experience working with children across different age groups, especially infants and preschoolers. Experience in nannying or caregiving roles that involve meal preparation, light housekeeping related to childcare, and engaging children in educational activities is highly valued. Certification or training in first aid is preferred to ensure safety during emergencies. Familiarity with working with children who have disabilities or special needs is a plus. The ideal applicant will demonstrate patience, flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for nurturing young minds. Previous daycare or babysitting experience combined with teaching or caregiving background will strengthen your application for this rewarding role.
