They'd love a nanny who's kind, compassionate, and family oriented, and who truly loves children. The nanny should have a passion for early childhood education and development. Ideally, this is someone who feels like family from day one. The family also has a sweet goldendoodle, so comfort around dogs is a must, though hands on pet care is not part of this role. This is a full time, live in position with core hours in the mornings, late afternoons, and evenings, plus flexibility for Saturdays and occasional overnights when the parents travel. The exact weekly schedule and responsibilities will be finalized together in advance. A day in this role might include: Helping with morning and after school routines Managing the child's laundry, including wash, fold, and put away Washing and folding family laundry Keeping his bedroom and play areas tidy and organized Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen tidy Overseeing schooling needs and educational activities Preparing healthy, kid friendly meals and snacks Grocery shopping and running family errands Driving to and from school, activities, and appointments Planning fun, age appropriate developmental activities Keeping communication open and easy with parents Helping the family settle into their new city and set up household routines Supporting general household organization and scheduling maintenance appointments Working alongside the family's housekeeper to keep the home running smoothly Staying flexible for school closures, sick days, and the occasional schedule shift
