In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment, teach and foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Your leadership will inspire excellence in early childhood development, classroom management, and parent communication, creating a vibrant community where children thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of young learners while supporting a collaborative team committed to quality care. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards Develop, implement and teach age-appropriate educational activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth for children from infancy to preschoolers. Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Ensure all staff are trained in first aid, CPR, mandated reporting laws, and other health and safety protocols Oversee enrollment processes, maintain accurate records, and ensure a welcoming environment for new families Monitor classroom environments to ensure cleanliness, organization, and child supervision at all times Experience Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with disabilities Strong background in early childhood education principles and childhood development instruction Prior classroom management experience in daycare or preschool settings Knowledge of pediatric first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and well-being We value energetic leadership that inspires both staff and families while upholding the highest standards of childcare excellence.
