The family's primary need is for a caregiver to provide loving care for their 3-year-old daughter while mom is in labor and delivering their new baby. Following the birth, there will be opportunities for occasional ongoing care for both the toddler and newborn.

Occasional / As Needed Responsibilities Provide attentive, engaging care for the family's 3-year-old while parents are at the hospital. Maintain the child's daily routine, including meals, naps, playtime, and bedtime if needed. Following the birth, provide nurturing care for both the toddler and newborn during occasional daytime bookings. Support newborn care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, safe sleep practices, and maintaining a calm, nurturing environment. Plan fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development. Communicate with the family and provide updates as needed. Ensure a safe, positive, and supportive environment for both children. Qualifications Professional experience caring for both newborns and toddlers is required. Previous experience supporting families with infants, including knowledge of newborn routines and safe sleep practices. CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain before employment). Reliable transportation. Flexible availability and ability to respond on short notice during the family's labor and delivery window. Excellent communication skills and a calm, reassuring demeanor.
