This position starts in August, although family can be flexible for the right Candidate.
Location:
Menlo Park, California.
Schedule:
The schedule is Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Children:
2, 6, 8 and 10 year olds.
Duties:
The duties include childcare; driving children; planning and attending activities and classes with children; managing afternoon routines, logistics, and transitions; assisting with children's dinner, bath, and bedtime routines; cooking for children; family meal prep; children's laundry; and light tidying, organizing, and resetting the house daily.
Requirements:
The ideal Candidate is warm, engaging, and able to build meaningful relationships with children across a range of ages; experienced supporting children with high-energy personalities (or naturally skilled in bringing calm, flexibility, and consistency to those environments); comfortable in a busy household with multiple children, sports, activities, and frequent moving pieces; proactive and high-energy: someone who takes initiative, anticipates needs, and enjoys planning activities and creating structure; highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through; and comfortable managing complex, changing schedules and using tools such as Google Calendar, texts, shared notes, etc. Candidates must be comfortable with parents working from home, as well as teaming with parents to ensure the children are cared for and routines are managed. Candidate must drive and must have or be willing to obtain up-to-date vaccinations, including COVID, MMR, Tdap, and flu vaccinations.
Salary:
$40-$50 per hour.
