DOE Schedule:

40 guaranteed full-time hours (schedule may flex slightly week to week). Flexibility is required, including occasional weekend availability. The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is: Warm, optimistic, and genuinely enjoys children Experienced with toddlers (ages 2-5) and early childhood development Familiar with or appreciative of RIE, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, respectful parenting, or similar child-led philosophies Calm, patient, emotionally intelligent, professional, reliable, and highly communicative Interested in building a long-term relationship with the family Fully present while caring for the child (no screen use) Comfortable working alongside a parent who sometimes works from home and open to occasional travel A background in Early Childhood Education, teaching, child development, or a similar field is highly valued. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Responsibilities Provide attentive, engaging childcare Plan age-appropriate activities and outings Support emotional development and social skills Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child Child laundry and maintaining child-related spaces Keep the kitchen clean before each shift ends Load/unload the dishwasher as needed Assist with light family assistant duties when appropriate Communicate regularly with the parent via text updates Requirements 3-5 years of professional nanny experience Experience caring for toddlers in a private home CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to renew) Familiar with or appreciative of RIE, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, respectful parenting, or similar child-led philosophies Valid driver's license and clean driving record Clear background check and Trustline Legally authorized to work in the United States Comfortable with W-2 employment Fluent in English Benefits $38-$45/hour depending on experience 40 guaranteed hours 2 weeks paid time off 40 hours paid sick leave Paid major holidays Vehicle may be provided for work-related purposes This is a wonderful opportunity for a professional nanny seeking a meaningful, long-term position with a loving family that values partnership, communication, and creating a positive home environment.
