Job Description

Overview A family in San Francisco, CA, is seeking an experienced, warm, and adaptable full-time nanny for their 3-month-old baby. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:50am-5:50pm, and the family is looking for someone to start as soon as possible. The parents are hands-on and are seeking a nanny who is confident and knowledgeable about infant care while also being collaborative and comfortable following their preferences regarding feeding, naps, routines, and development. The grandparents are also involved, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable working alongside family members and other household staff when needed. The family is seeking a long-term fit and would love to find someone warm, communicative, proactive, flexible, and genuinely excited to grow with their child. Domestic travel is required, including travel over certain holidays. Responsibilities Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for a 3-month-old infant Manage feeding, naps, diapering, and the baby's daily routine Follow the parents' preferences regarding feeding, sleep, and overall infant care Engage the baby in age-appropriate developmental activities, play, and outings Support developmental milestones as the baby grows Maintain open and proactive communication with the parents regarding the baby's day, routines, and development Keep the baby's areas, nursery, toys, and supplies clean and organized Handle child-related laundry, bottles, and other infant-related tasks Work collaboratively with hands-on parents, involved grandparents, and other household staff Adapt responsibilities and activities as the child grows Travel domestically with the family as needed, including certain holidays Requirements Domestic travel is required Upcoming travel includes: Thanksgiving in

March 7-13, 2027 Salary and Benefits $40-$60/hour, depending on experience Monday-Friday, 7:50am-5:50pm $500/month healthcare stipend Annual bonus 10 paid vacation days during the first year 15 paid vacation days annually after one year 5 paid sick days Family vacations during which nanny services are not required will not count against the nanny's vacation balance Additional compensation for holiday travel
