Lil' Kick Stars Coach City SC San Marcos - 4.0 San Marcos, CA Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Seasonal $25 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Soccer coaching Parent collaboration Personal service experience with children Parent communication Performing background checks Preschool experience Full Job Description City SC San Marcos is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and energetic Youth Soccer Coach to lead our Lil' Kick Stars program for young players ages 2-4 years old. This is a fun and rewarding opportunity for someone who is confident and experienced working with toddlers, helping introduce them to soccer through movement, play, and age-appropriate activities in a safe, positive environment.

9:00-9:45 AM 10:00-10:45

Walnut Grove Park, San Marcos, CA Season Dates:

August 29th - October 24th (weather dependent) Backup Date (if needed due to weather): October 31st Responsibilities Lead structured, age-appropriate soccer activities designed for 2-4 year olds Create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment Engage positively with players and parents Manage short attention spans with patience and creativity Arrive prepared with session planned and on time for all sessions Required Qualifications Previous experience working with children ages 2-4 is essential (coaching, early childhood education, childcare, preschool, or similar) Soccer playing or coaching experience is preferred, but not required Energetic, patient, and positive demeanor Strong communication skills with both children and parents Reliable transportation and punctuality Ability to pass background check Compensation $25 per session (two sessions each Saturday) Additional Opportunities Successful coaches will have continued opportunities with this age group, including: Spring Arena (Saturdays) Summer Futsal (Saturdays) If you have a passion for working with toddlers and helping them take their first steps into sport, we'd love to hear from you.
