Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and reliable Child Care Helper/General Cleaning/Driver to join us. In this multifaceted role, you will assist with child supervision, help maintain a clean and safe environment, and provide transportation for children between school and the center (Mileage Paid).Your positive attitude and dedication will help create a nurturing space where children thrive and families feel confident. Responsibilities Safely transport children from school to the child care center, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs. Assist with supervising children during daily activities, playtime, and homework assistance. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment through general cleaning duties. Share engaging activities with children that promote social-emotional development and learning. Support classroom management by helping implement age-appropriate routines and behavior guidance. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's needs and daily updates. Follow all safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to drive for school pickups is essential (Mileage Paid). Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or early childhood education preferred. Knowledge of childhood development, behavior management, and classroom activities. Certification or training in first aid and CPR and mandated reporter training is required by time of hire. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
