Job Description
Mother's Helper / Nanny (Part-Time) Long-Term Position for One Toddler in High Springs We're looking for a dependable, warm, and proactive mother's helper/nanny to become an important part of our family's routine in High Springs. Our 1.5 year old is energetic, curious, and always on the move. They'll definitely keep you on your toes! We're hoping to find someone who enjoys toddlers and wants to build a lasting relationship with our family. We are a non religious family that values Montessori principles, independence, respectful communication, and fostering curiosity through play and everyday experiences. We are a screen-free household. We ask that our child not be given any screen time and that caregivers refrain from using their phones or other personal devices while on shift, except in the event of an emergency. This is more than just a childcare job. We're looking for someone who can provide consistency and become a familiar, trusted presence in our toddler's life. Because stable relationships are so important for early childhood development, we're looking for someone who can commit to staying with our family for at least one year . What you'll do: Play with and engage our toddler through age appropriate activities while I am home. Help prepare simple meals and snacks. Assist with light household tasks related to our toddler, such as tidying toys, washing dishes, folding laundry, and keeping play areas organized. Be an extra set of hands during our daily routine so we can create a calm, happy environment. We're looking for someone who is: Kind, patient, and enjoys working with toddlers. Comfortable keeping up with an active, busy little one. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Comfortable taking initiative and helping where needed. Experienced with young children (professional or personal experience is welcome). CPR and First Aid certified or willing to become certified. Has no criminal history and can pass a background check.
