Job Description

Overview A warm and caring family in Miami Beach is seeking a full-time, experienced nanny for their 2 year old daughter, with the goal of growing their family in the future. The family maintains a consistent daily schedule for their daughter, including set meal, nap and sleep times, and values a nanny who can maintain that same level of structure and consistency. The schedule is 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. The family values an early childhood education and teaching background, and they are looking to find someone with qualifications and experience to continue supporting their daughter's development. Looking ahead, the family hopes to grow their family within the next year, so newborn experience is a plus and this role has the potential to grow into supporting an infant as well. Responsibilities Provide attentive, engaged care for a toddler, focused on age-appropriate developmental activities Support early learning, manners, and structure in daily routines Maintain the child's consistent daily schedule (naps, meals, activities) Prepare the child's meals Children's laundry and tidying the child's room Comfortable around a dog (mini Goldendoodle) Newborn support and care once a second child arrives Occasional local outings for the related activities with the child Qualifications The ideal candidate is college educated, intelligent, and has a background in early childhood education or teaching. A Montessori background is a plus but not required. Candidates should be fluent in English, but Spanish is welcome as an additional language. The ideal candidate is warm and genuinely invested in supporting the child's continued growth and development, with openness to growing with the family as they may welcome a second child. Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience Early childhood education experience College educated Fluent in English Comfortable maintaining a consistent, structured schedule Comfortable cooking and preparing healthy meals for child Strong verifiable references Newborn experience a plus Salary and Benefits
