Position:

Live-Out, Long-TermA warm and welcoming family in Naples, Florida is seeking an exceptional, highly proactive and education-focused Live-Out Nanny to join their household long-term. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who truly enjoys being part of a family, takes initiative without needing constant direction, and is passionate about early childhood development.

The family has two boys, ages 2½ and 1, with a third baby due in March. The newborn will have a dedicated Baby Nurse for approximately the first 4-6 months. The oldest child currently attends preschool five days per week, and the one-year-old will begin preschool two days per week.

Ideal Candidate:

The family would especially love someone with a strong educational or early-childhood background, such as:

• Former preschool or early childhood teacher
• Degree in education, early childhood development, or a related field
• Master's degree in education or similar advanced educational experience
• Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and age-appropriate learning.

Formal teaching experience is highly preferred, but the family is open to candidates with comparable educational and developmental experience. This family is looking for someone who is extremely proactive and takes initiative. They want a nanny who recognizes what the children need developmentally and can confidently communicate with the parents—for example, recognizing when a child appears ready for potty training or when it may be time to introduce a new skill, routine, or developmental activity.

Responsibilities:

The nanny will be expected to create an engaging, educational, and fun environment for the children, including:

• Planning creative, age-appropriate educational activities and projects
• Arts and crafts, sensory activities, reading, music, and imaginative play
• Baking and cooking projects with the children
• Encouraging developmental milestones and independence
• Helping establish routines and supporting potty training when appropriate
• Taking the children to activities, classes, outings, and appointments
• Preparing simple meals/snacks for the children
• Children's laundry and organization
• Keeping children's bedrooms, play areas, and belongings organized
• Loading/unloading the dishwasher and helping maintain an orderly kitchen
• Cleaning and organizing the refrigerator when the children are at school
• Assisting with light household organization and seasonal tasks, such as taking down the Christmas tree
• Proactively identifying things that need to be done rather than waiting to be asked.

This is not a housekeeper position, but when the children are in school, the family appreciates someone who is willing to pitch in with reasonable household tasks and help keep the home running smoothly.

Team Environment:

There is a second nanny working in the home, so being a genuine team player is essential. The current nanny is easygoing and even-keeled, and the family would love someone who can work collaboratively, communicate well, and maintain a positive atmosphere. The home has no pets.

Driving & Travel:

A nanny vehicle equipped with car seats will be provided whenever transportation of the children is required. The family also has a residence in Colorado, and the ability to travel with the family—particularly during the summer—is a major plus. Travel is not necessarily required for the right candidate, but flexibility and willingness to travel would be highly valued.

Speaking an additional language is also a huge bonus, though not required. The current nanny speaks Spanish with the children, and the family appreciates continued exposure to additional languages. Benefits
