Now Hiring:
Long-Term Nanny -
Winter Park, FL Pay:
$22-28/hour (based on experience) We are a local nanny agency currently seeking an experienced, professional nanny for a wonderful long-term position with a family in the Winter Park area.
Start Date:
Flexible for the right fit (late July through early/mid-August)
Schedule:
Monday:
7:00 AM-12:00
PM Tuesday-Thursday:
7:00/8:00 AM-4:00 PM (with occasional flexibility to stay until 5:00 PM) Potential for every other Friday morning (optional) Approximately 25-32 hours per week , with the opportunity for additional hours depending on the family's needs. Position Overview This family is seeking a warm, attentive, and highly experienced nanny to provide exceptional care for a young infant in a home setting. The ideal candidate is calm, nurturing, dependable, and understands the importance of following routines while providing individualized, developmentally appropriate care. Because the child arrived early and requires a higher level of attentiveness during infancy, the family is looking for a nanny who is confident caring for newborns and comfortable following specialized feeding routines and developmental recommendations. They hope to find someone who can become a long-term part of their family and remain with them for at least the next two years. Experience caring for premature infants, medically complex newborns, or babies with reflux is highly valued. A nursing background, experience in a NICU setting, or certification as a Newborn Care Specialist is a significant plus but is not required. Responsibilities Include Providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for an infant Supporting healthy development through tummy time, sensory activities, reading, and age-appropriate play Following established feeding schedules and routines, including bottle preparation and sanitization Comfortably following feeding techniques such as paced feeding and supporting reflux management when needed Monitoring the child's well-being and communicating any concerns to parents Maintaining nap routines and creating a calm, nurturing environment Children's laundry and maintaining organized child-related spaces Light household tasks related to the child, including kitchen cleanup after bottles or meals Occasional child-related errands as needed Maintaining open, professional communication with parents regarding daily activities and developmental progress Ideal Candidate Minimum 5-6 years of professional childcare experience Extensive experience caring for newborns and young infants Experience with premature infants or medically fragile newborns strongly preferred Nursing background or Newborn Care Specialist certification is a plus Patient, dependable, organized, and proactive Comfortable working in a home where parents may occasionally be present Seeking a long-term position and committed to providing consistency and stability Agency Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional childcare experience 3 or more excellent, verifiable childcare references (family and friends cannot be used) CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain prior to employment) Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle Ability to pass a comprehensive background check Non-smoker To Apply Please apply directly through Indeed to be considered. Pay:
