Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Monitor to oversee the safety, engagement, and development of children in our care environment. In this vital role, you will create a nurturing atmosphere that promotes childhood growth, learning, and fun. Your energetic approach will ensure children are supervised effectively while participating in enriching activities. Responsibilities Supervise children during various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Manage classroom dynamics through effective behavior management and techniques Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education, creativity, and social skills Provide basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents Collaborate with team members to plan and execute engaging programs, including sports coaching, arts, theater, or tutoring sessions Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction and emotional growth. Maintain a clean, organized environment that encourages learning and play while adhering to childcare regulations Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, camp, tutoring, or childcare settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable (not required to apply) Strong skills in behavior management and working with children of diverse backgrounds Ability to communicate effectively with children, supervisors and staff members Enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth Join us to inspire young minds and foster joyful learning experiences! Pay:
$15.50 - $19.50 per hour
