Job Description
We are looking for an experienced child care teacher with a current Director's Credential. The candidate will be able to:
- Effectively run and teach a small group of preschoolers ages 0-3 year-olds
- Demonstrate a passion in alignment with the vision of Metropolitan Early Childhood
- Meet regularly with the board to insure alignment with the policies and principles of Metropolitan Early Childhood
- Know and follow all DCF regulations
- Execute effective classroom practices that promote learning and development
- Report monthly attendance to the Early Learning Coalition
- Complete a level II background clearance, 40 hours of DCF online training, and CPR/First Aid.
