Job Description

A family looking for more than just a nanny is seeking a dependable, proactive caregiver who can bring energy, organization, and structure to their busy household. The ideal candidate will be loving, engaging, and confident creating a fun environment while keeping the children on track. They are looking for someone with a strong moral compass, positive attitude, and the ability to be both kind and firm. Responsibilities include engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play, sports, driving to school and activities, assisting with routines and bath time, and encouraging healthy habits. A confident swimmer and someone who enjoys being active with children is preferred. This role also includes light family-assistant and household support such as children's laundry, unloading the dishwasher, wiping counters, vacuuming, meal prep and cooking, grocery pickup, keeping children's areas stocked, checking backpacks, and communicating when household supplies are running low. The family may welcome a new baby, so experience with newborn care is highly preferred, including bottle preparation, washing bottles, tummy time, sensory activities, walks, sleep-training support, and helping with developmental milestones. The family has a regular housekeeper, so deep cleaning is not required. They are looking for someone proactive, punctual, trustworthy, flexible, and willing to take initiative without needing to be micromanaged, with occasional travel or overnight care potentially needed. 1 small dog Schedule Monday
