Postpartum Confinement Nanny [Live-In] The Woo Family Atlanta, GA Job Details Temporary | Full-time $5,500 - $7,500 a month 1 day ago Qualifications Nutrition Patient monitoring English Live-in employment Chinese cuisine Food preparation Nannying Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking an experienced, caring, and reliable Live-In Postpartum Confinement Nanny to support a mother and newborn during the postpartum recovery period. The ideal candidate should have experience with Chinese confinement care , including preparing traditional postpartum meals, soups, broths, teas, and recovery foods. This role will focus on helping the mother rest, recover, eat nourishing meals, receive emotional support, and receive help with breastfeeding and basic newborn care. This is a full-time temporary live-in position . The nanny will have her own private bedroom and bathroom. The baby will sleep with the parents in a separate room.

Atlanta, GA Responsibilities Postpartum Meals & Mother Recovery Support Cook three Chinese confinement meals daily for the mother: breakfast, lunch, and dinner Prepare traditional Asian postpartum recovery soups, broths, teas, and tonic-style foods daily Plan meals according to the mother's postpartum recovery stage Prepare nourishing foods that support rest, warmth, recovery, and postpartum nutrition Clean the kitchen after meals and maintain a clean cooking area Follow the dietary preferences, restrictions, and postpartum recovery traditions Breastfeeding & Mother Support Provide basic breastfeeding support and guidance with feeding positions Help the mother stay comfortable during feeding Offer emotional support, reassurance, and calm encouragement during postpartum recovery Provide regular emotional check-ins and general non-medical support Monitor the mother's comfort and recovery in a non-medical capacity Newborn & Baby Care Support Help with basic newborn care as needed Assist with baby feeding when needed Help with burping, soothing, diapering, and basic baby care routines Sterilize bottles, pump parts, and baby feeding equipment Support the parents during overnight hours, approximately 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM Help maintain a calm and restful environment for the mother and baby Light Household Support Keep mother and baby areas neat and organized Clean up after meal preparation Help keep baby-related items clean and organized Assist with light household tasks directly related to mother and baby care Requirements Prior experience as a confinement nanny , postpartum nanny, newborn caregiver, or similar role Experience preparing Chinese confinement dishes and postpartum recovery meals Experience with traditional Asian postpartum soups, broths, teas, or tonic-style foods Ability to speak and understand English Experience supporting breastfeeding mothers preferred Comfortable providing overnight support Comfortable working as a live-in nanny Patient, calm, respectful, nurturing, and reliable Strong understanding of newborn care basics Able to follow family preferences and household routines Must be discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of family privacy Strong references from previous families preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience with Chinese postpartum confinement traditions Experience planning meals by postpartum recovery stage Experience preparing herbal-based postpartum foods or teas Experience supporting first-time mothers Experience with overnight newborn care Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is warm, experienced, calm, and dependable. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of postpartum recovery and can provide excellent support through nourishing meals, emotional reassurance, breastfeeding support, and newborn care assistance.Schedule & Living Arrangement Schedule:
