Job Description
Lapapoe is registered with the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) and the Georgia Department of Early Care and Education (DECAL). We provide in-home respite care and care within childcare settings for children with special needs and disabilities. As a respite provider, you may work directly with a child in their home or alongside them in a childcare center. Children may have needs such as autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, or other developmental disabilities. The role can vary depending on the child and setting. Providers may help with daily routines, activities, transitions, community outings, and providing one-on-one attention throughout the day. This is a part-time role with opportunities based on the needs of the families and childcare centers we work with. All providers are required to complete Lapapoe's screening and onboarding process before beginning work.
