In this role, you will support children's developmental needs through attentive caregiving, educational activities, and positive interaction. Your energetic approach will foster a joyful atmosphere that encourages learning, creativity, and social growth. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while developing your skills in early childhood education and caregiving. Duties Supervise and care for children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning Assist with toddler care, infant care, preschool activities, and behavior management strategies Support children with disabilities or special needs by providing tailored care and encouragement Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards including first aid and CPR protocols Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, needs, or concerns Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, classroom settings, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages Certification in first aid and CPR from an accredited organization Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or children with disabilities is highly desirable Ability to manage behavior effectively and implement positive discipline techniques Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Strong teaching experience with young children or classroom experience preferred Excellent communication skills and a compassionate attitude toward caregiving Join our team to inspire young minds while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education!
