This leadership role requires a strong commitment to child development and education, as well as the ability to manage staff effectively and engage with parents and the community. The ideal candidate will possess a background in education administration and demonstrate a passion for fostering children's growth and learning. Duties Develop and implement educational programs that promote children's physical, emotional, and intellectual development. Supervise and support child care staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements related to child care operations. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their children's progress and address any concerns. Manage daily operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages collaboration among staff, parents, and the community. Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes for children. Requirements Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; higher education teaching experience is preferred. Proven experience in education administration or child care management. Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff. Ability to lead a team while fostering a positive work environment. Experience working directly with students in an educational setting is highly desirable.
