Early to Mid-October About the Family Jovie of Greater Kansas City is thrilled to partner with a wonderful, bustling entrepreneurial family as they expand their crew! This vibrant household includes an inquisitive older sibling, a spirited 2-year-old, an adventurous 1-year-old, and a new baby girl joining the family in late October. While the parents manage multiple businesses with busy schedules, their primary goal is to bring calm, predictable structure, consistency, and joyful learning into their young children's daily lives. They value open communication, a positive attitude, and a true team-player mindset. The Role & Responsibilities We are looking for a safety-conscious, high-energy nanny who loves getting down on the floor to play, read, and engage. Your primary focus will be providing attentive care and structure for the younger children while supporting the family's daily rhythm:

Engaging Care & Play:

Leading age-appropriate play, arts, crafts, reading, and outdoor walks using multi-child transit gear as the family grows.

Meal & Snack Routines:

Preparing and serving simple daytime meals/snacks, tidying feeding areas, and assisting with light dinner preparation.

Nap & Rest Times:

Managing consistent nap routines, ensuring quiet, separate rest spaces for little ones who need individual downtime.

Light Household Support:

Managing children's laundry (including prepping/soaking items as needed), resetting play areas, and keeping high-traffic spaces tidy.

Future Planning Note:

The family currently resides in a townhome (featuring a friendly family dog who is kenneled and managed separately—caregivers are not responsible for pet care). They plan to build a custom home within the next 12 months about 30 minutes away, and they are seeking a caregiver who would be excited to grow with them on this journey!

Jovie Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of childcare experience, verified references, clean background and driving records with a vehicle, and current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to complete through Jovie).
