In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and fostering positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Your leadership will inspire a team of passionate caregivers and educators to deliver high-quality childcare services that promote childhood development, learning, and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while ensuring compliance with all safety and educational standards. Duties Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of age-appropriate curriculum focused on early childhood education, including preschool, toddler care, and infant care programs. Supervise daily classroom activities to ensure engaging, safe, and developmentally suitable experiences for children. Manage staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and professional team. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws, health regulations, safety protocols, and licensing requirements related to childcare centers. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on children's progress, address concerns, and foster strong relationships. Oversee the maintenance of a clean, organized, and child-friendly environment that supports learning and development. Implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions and emotional growth among children. Ensure staff are trained in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and emergency procedures to guarantee a safe environment at all times. Experience Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or children with special needs. Prior classroom management experience in daycare centers or early childhood education settings. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision best practices. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable. Strong communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration. Familiarity with daycare licensing standards, mandated reporting laws, and health & safety regulations.
