Overview Join our vibrant educational community as the Settle Memorial Preschool Afterschool Childcare Coordinator! In this dynamic role, you will lead the development and management of early childhood education programs, ensuring a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young learners. Your leadership will inspire staff, foster teamwork, and promote excellence in childcare and educational activities. Duties Oversee daily operations of the afterschool childcare program, ensuring compliance with licensing standards and safety regulations Develop, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate curricula that promote early childhood development and learning Supervise staff members, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain high-quality program delivery Coordinate with parents and guardians to communicate program goals, progress updates, and address concerns effectively Manage administrative tasks using educational administrative software and productivity tools to maintain accurate records of attendance, billing, and compliance documentation Lead team meetings to foster collaboration, share best practices, and ensure consistent program quality Develop new initiatives to enhance program offerings, increase enrollment, and support community engagement Requirements Higher education teaching experience or background in early childhood education or education administration. The Coordinator should have previous experience in After School and/or two years college training with 15 hours of early childhood or elementary education courses, or a CDA. Proven experience in school administrative roles or as a school administrative director within educational settings Demonstrated staff supervision and personnel management skills within an educational or childcare environment Knowledge of program development principles tailored to early childhood or school-age children Experience working with students in preschool or afterschool programs; familiarity with early childhood education standards preferred Excellent writing skills for documentation and communication with families and staff Ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting This role is ideal for motivated professionals passionate about early childhood education who thrive on leadership and teamwork. Pay:
