Job Description
Overview A dynamic and loving family in Boston is seeking a fantastic weekend nanny for their toddlers, ages 3 and 2. The schedule is flexible- the family is open to someone who wants to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for a full 39 hour schedule (7am-8pm), or two days (Friday and Saturday, Saturday and Sunday, or Sunday and Monday). Candidates must be local enough to commute every week, but the family can provide live-in accommodations for the weekend if that is preferred. The family is currently looking for temporary help (start date is ASAP, end date is not yet determined). Responsibilities All care of the children, including sole-charge care as needed Collaborating with parents and other staff to create a cohesive and child-focused environment in the home Actively engaging with the children in a creative and developmentally appropriate way Child-related tidying and organization Qualifications Able to "read the room" and step in and out as needed True team player- the ability to collaborate with other household staff is essential Playful and fun, but able to maintain limits and structure Experience with full-charge care, and able to operate autonomously as needed Comfortable taking direction from the lead nanny and maintain existing household structures and systems Requirements US work authorization Strong toddler skills Salary and Benefits $35-50/hr.
