- $19 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Paylocity Full Job Description Under the direction of the AD of Family Programming, the Junior Babysitter will assist lead babysitters and provide childcare for children ages (3 months-11 years) while keeping them safe and engaged.

Standard Staff Expectations:
Actively create a welcoming dynamic environment where each individual feels seen and welcomed. Actively participate as an essential member of the FEJL team. Other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities:
None This is a great chance to join JCC Greater Boston's respected and valued, people-orientated workplace of diverse community services providers, which is rapidly growing! This is a limited part-time +- 7 hours per week, non-exempt position. Offering great perks, a supportive, vibrant, in-person work environment and a competitive starting pay rate of $16
- 19 per hour. The pay rate offered will ultimately be determined by relevant qualifications, experience, and JCC's internal equity. Work schedule typically weekend mornings from 8:30 a.m.

Requirements Education and Experience:
Must be 16 years or older Is flexible, mature and responsible Prior experience (3 months or more) working with young children, ages 3 months to 11 years, (e.g. babysitting, camp counselor, etc., preferred. Is positive/upbeat and brings energy to working with babies, toddlers, and young children. Is committed to ensuring children's safety and upholding JCC values. CPR/AED and first aid certified or willing to be certified within first two weeks of hire.Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional interpersonal and active listening skills Professional and clear communicator Ability to manage situations effectively and diplomatically Ability to adapt to evolving needs and circumstances A quick and eager learner who takes initiative Works well independently and with others, building/sustaining collaborative working relationships. Adaptable to changing situations. Patient and caring. Ability to log hours on Paylocity online system.Physical Requirements:
Able to lift and carry objects weighing 15-40 pounds (boxes of supplies, snacks etc.) Able to sit and kneel to interact with young children.ADA Statement:
