Job Description

Part-Time Nanny - Newton, MA A warm Newton family is seeking a nurturing, reliable, and experienced nanny to provide primary care for their 5-month-old baby , with occasional care for their 2½-year-old son.

Schedule Tuesday:

8:00 AM-5:00

PM Wednesday:

8:00 AM-5:00

PM Friday:

8:00 AM-5:00 PM 27 guaranteed hours per week Compensation $24-$25 per hour , based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities The primary responsibility will be caring for the family's 5-month-old, including: Following the baby's daily routine and schedule Bottle feeding and preparing bottles Managing naps and sleep routines Engaging the baby in age-appropriate play and activities Providing attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care Helping maintain a consistent and predictable routine The nanny will also occasionally care for the family's 2½-year-old son , including picking him up from school at approximately 2:45 PM . His school is only about 10 minutes from the family's home , so the ideal candidate should be comfortable with occasional driving. Household Support The family is looking for someone who can also provide light household help related to the children , including: Children's laundry Washing and sanitizing bottles Loading and unloading the dishwasher Keeping play areas and children's spaces tidy and organized Ideal Candidate The ideal nanny will be: Warm, nurturing, and engaging Experienced with infants and comfortable caring for a baby Reliable, responsible, and organized Comfortable caring for two children when needed A confident driver with a clean driving record Proactive and willing to help with child-related household tasks Looking to build a long-term relationship with the family
