Full Time & Part-Time Sitters Needed

Join Our Amazing Sitter Team! Jovie of Concord, Newton, Wellesley, Metrowest, South Shore, and Rhode Island is hiring creative, energetic, responsible, and outgoing full-time and part-time sitters to provide exceptional in-home childcare for local families. If you love working with children, spending time outdoors, building forts, creating art projects, and diving into imaginative play—this is the job for you! With Jovie, you'll make a real difference in a child's life, support families in your community, and enjoy rewarding, meaningful work. What You'll Do Care for children of all ages (infant to 12+) in their homes, typically within a 30-mile radius. Work 4-7 days per week between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Create safe, fun, and engaging environments through play, arts & crafts, and outdoor activities. Maintain a tidy space by ensuring play areas and the home are left neat and organized. Communicate openly and effectively with both children and parents. Provide care based on your availability—we handle all scheduling for you.

Pay & Perks Hourly Rate:

$22-24 per hour (based on experience). Professionally paid contract position with biweekly direct deposit. Paid onboarding and orientation prior to your first day. A sitter bag stocked with supplies to set you up for fun and successful days. Ongoing support from our staffing managers and training team. Opportunities to transition into long-term private nanny placements. Families that are pre-screened, safe, and fully vetted. Personally matched families to ensure the right fit. Candidates with full-time availability (30+ hours per week) are prioritized, but part-time (full-day or weekends) is welcome! Requirements At least 2 years of childcare experience. At least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S. Reliable personal vehicle. Ability to commute up to 30 miles from home. CPR certified (or willing to complete an online course reimbursed by us). Strong communication skills to work with parents, managers, and children. Able to pass a background check (including driving history) in accordance with local law. Willing and able to engage in safe, active play (indoors and outdoors).
