Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and flexible On-Call Nanny to provide exceptional childcare support for families in need of immediate and reliable assistance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives by offering attentive, nurturing, and responsible care during on-call hours. The ideal candidate will be proactive, energetic, and passionate about working with children of all ages, including infants and toddlers, while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Duties Respond promptly to on-call requests to care for children in various family settings, including homes and daycare environments Provide engaging and age-appropriate activities for children, fostering their development and curiosity Ensure the safety of children by adhering to safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, playtime, and educational activities Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's needs, behaviors, and daily progress Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to children's comfort and safety Be prepared to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, utilizing first aid skills when required Qualifications Proven experience in childcare, babysitting, nannying, or daycare settings Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond quickly in emergencies Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong understanding of toddler care, infant care, and developmental milestones Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families Reliable transportation and flexibility to respond to on-call requests at short notice Passionate about working with children and committed to providing compassionate caregiving Join us in creating a nurturing environment where children thrive!
