Bright Moon Childcare is a new early childhood education center in Rockville, Maryland, serving children from infancy through age five. We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Childcare Aide to join our team. Our ideal candidate genuinely enjoys working with young children and is patient, attentive, reliable, and willing to help wherever needed throughout the day. Responsibilities Assist teachers with daily classroom activities, routines, and transitions Supervise children and help maintain a safe, nurturing environment Assist with meals/snacks, diapering, toileting, handwashing, and other daily care routines as appropriate Help prepare and clean up classroom activities and learning materials Maintain clean and organized classrooms and common areas Assist with indoor and outdoor play Provide additional classroom support as needed Follow Bright Moon Childcare policies and Maryland child care licensing requirements Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, families, and other staff members Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or young children is preferred Must be able to complete all required Maryland child care background checks, clearances, and training Must be dependable, punctual, patient, and comfortable working as part of a team Must be able to actively supervise and safely assist young children throughout the day About Bright Moon Bright Moon Childcare is a warm, family-oriented early learning center focused on providing children with a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. Our program incorporates hands-on learning and Montessori-inspired practices while encouraging independence, creativity, and social-emotional development.
