Job Synopsis:
This position is dual-role in nature, which shifts naturally throughout the day as needed. While the children are napping and/or at school or activities, you will act as a family assistant/household manager, proactively anticipating household needs and ensuring the household runs efficiently by managing tasks such as appointments, extracurriculars, organization, toy rotation, tidying, dishes, laundry, housework, meal prep and occasionally managing outside vendors like grocery delivery or home repairmen. When the children are out of school, you will transition into a caregiver role, providing engaging and supportive care and support for the children. Managing their daily schedules, which include getting them to and from school, transporting them to extracurricular activities, planning and hosting playdates, setting up activities and crafts, preparing meals, and more. The ideal candidate is engaging, present, and always one step ahead, acting as a trusted extension of the parents. This role requires a proactive and enthusiastic professional who can balance high-level childcare with comprehensive household management. We are looking for someone with the ability to be flexible and accommodating with scheduling. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working alongside Mom to "divide and conquer" and manage the responsibilities. Overnights may occasionally be required, and the family would love a nanny who is open to travel with the family.
