Job Description

Job Overview Join our vibrant Greater Works Kids World team as a Child Care Staff member and become a vital part of creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging faith based environment for children of all ages. In this role, you will provide attentive care, support early childhood development, and foster positive learning experiences. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help children thrive physically, emotionally, and socially while ensuring their safety and well-being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives through dedicated caregiving and educational support. Duties Supervise and engage children during daily activities, playtime, and learning sessions to promote development and social skills Implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate cognitive growth, creativity, and physical activity Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols, conducting regular room checks, and managing behavior effectively Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care needs for infants and toddlers Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns Support classroom management by organizing materials, setting up activity stations, and maintaining cleanliness Apply first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or incidents with professionalism and care Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies Ability to work effectively with children of diverse ages including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage positively with children's families Passionate about nurturing young minds with patience, enthusiasm, and a caring attitude Join us to inspire growth and joy in every child's day!
