Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children while engaging them in educational and fun activities. This position requires a strong commitment to childcare and the ability to adapt to the unique needs of each child. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Create engaging activities that promote learning and development, including educational games and crafts. Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas and preparing children's spaces. Provide care for a child including diaper changes, feeding, and soothing. Support preschool-aged children with age-appropriate educational activities. Offer caregiving support for children with disabilities, adapting activities as needed to ensure inclusion. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns. Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a first aid kit readily available. Experience Proven experience in childcare or babysitting is highly desirable. Familiarity with infant care techniques and preschool education practices. Experience working with children who have disabilities is a plus. Strong understanding of caregiving principles, including patience, empathy, and effective communication skills. Certification in first aid or willingness to obtain certification is preferred.
