Position Summary:

With the focus to support and advance the Edina Public Schools' mission, vision and core values, the Childcare Lead engages in activities with children enrolled in childcare programming.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or childcare work experience. The following certifications and training are required upon hire or within six months of employment: CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), DHS Certification.

Salary Range:

The wage for this position ranges from $24.92 to $31.03 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. New hires will typically start at the entry-level rate within the wage range, while candidates with relevant experience may be placed at a higher starting rate. These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, in consideration of the individual's experience and the school district's budget.
