Job Description:

We are looking for a dependable, reliable nanny/family assistant to help bridge the gap between school dismissal and the end of the workday for our family. Our daughter is a kind, creative, and playful 6-year-old who loves crafts, imaginative play, outdoor adventures, the playground, sports, and spending time with friends. We also have a 4-year-old son who attends daycare, though this role will primarily focus on our daughter. Mom works from home and will be in the home during scheduled hours.

Responsibilities include:

Picking up our daughter from Lake Elmo Elementary School (approximately 1.2 miles from our home) Supervising after-school activities and play Encouraging creativity, outdoor play, and age-appropriate activities Providing a safe, positive, and engaging environment In addition to after-school care, we are interested in finding someone who would like an additional 4-5 hours per week of optional family assistant responsibilities, including: Children's laundry Household laundry (towels, sheets, whites) Light meal prep Grocery pickup Running occasional errands Light tidying and organization projects Loading/unloading the dishwasher Please note that deep cleaning is not expected.

Reliable and punctual Warm, engaging, and positive personality Comfortable driving and providing school pickup Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Prior childcare experience preferred College students studying education, child development, OT, teaching, or related fields are encouraged to apply Teachers, experienced nannies, and stay-at-home parents looking for supplemental income are also welcome to apply

PM Additional Details:

Applicants must be available for school pickup and arrive at the pickup line no later than 2:05 PM. A paid trial shift will be part of the hiring process. Reference checks will be conducted. Background check may be requested depending on candidate experience and background. Candidate must be comfortable signing a simple confidentiality/social media agreement and driving agreement.
